CAS DataLoggers Helps a NY Racetrack Cut Energy Costs

Affordable Power Data Loggers

CAS DataLoggers has just provided the data logging solution for Anthony Flynn, Building Systems Engineer with Huston Engineering. Huston’s customer is the New York Racing Association of Saratoga who contracted them to source accurate yet cost-effective datalogging equipment. “We found CAS DataLoggers online. The main advantage for us was that your Electrocorder kits were available immediately–that was a necessity for us, and we got them shortly after our order. The price was well within range for all the equipment we wanted.” Read more on our Energy Measurement Applications Notes page.

Monitoring Temperature and Power on Aging 3-Phase Compressor Motors

CAS DataLoggers recently helped a frozen product manufacturer to monitor temperature and perform power factoring on several large 3-phase compressor motors used for refrigeration. As these compressors aged through valve leakage and piston ring deterioration, the AC temperatures fluctuated which endangered product quality. To avoid compressor failure and to realize energy savings, the manufacturer needed an equipment monitoring solution with a high number of universal analog channels that could monitor temperature and the equipment’s energy/power usage. The customer also needed to totalize the energy data and the motor on/off times, so an intelligent solution was needed. Read more on our Equipment Monitoring Applications Notes page.
